Ruby Rachel Hull Whicker

Kernersville - Ruby Rachel Hull Whicker, 100, passed away November 1, 2015 at Piney Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 26, 1914 in Forsyth County. Ruby loved being outdoors, especially when she was tobacco farming, or gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Whicker, and her two sons, Roger and Howard Whicker.
Surviving are, three granddaughters, Brenda, Martha, and Rhonda, two grandsons, William and wife Susan, and Mike, and two great grandchildren, Neil and Rachael, one daughter in law, Mary.
A graveside service will be conducted 4:00 PM Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in the Muddy Creek Union Friends Cemetery with Rev. Glyn Stewart officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel prior to the graveside. Online condolences may be made to www.hayworth-miller.com
