Ruby Victoria Hauser Smith

Mrs. Ruby Victoria Hauser Smith passed away Monday, November 14, 2011 at Mallard Ridge Assisted Living in Clemmons. Mrs. Smith was born in Guilford County on March 1, 1929 to the late Sadie Lillian Allen and William Arthur Hauser, Sr. She graduated from Clemmons School and was a life-long member of Centenary United Methodist Church. In 1994, she retired from Forsyth Medical Center with 30 plus years of service. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her first husband, Harvey McKinley Tuttle; second husband, Elmer Leroy Smith; five brothers, Arthur ""Buck"", W.A., Otis, Clyde and Leroy Hauser; as well as two sisters, Thelma Hauser and Pat Sweat. Surviving to cherish her memory are her son, Harvey Ray Tuttle and wife JoAnn; granddaughter, Michelle Mize and husband Jay, great grandson, Colton Ray Mize; a sister, Cleo Seats. A graveside service will be held Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Centenary United Methodist Church in Clemmons with Pastor Roland Barnhardt officiating. The family would like to thank Mallard Ridge and the staff of the Horizon Unit for the wonderful care Mrs. Smith received.
