Ruby Tilley Robertson

Mrs. Ruby Elizabeth Tilley Robertson, age 92 passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Springwood Care in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Robertson was born December 13, 1923 in Surry County to Terry Madison Tilley and Alice Ruth Hensley Tilley. She was a member and Sunday School Treasure at Old Fashion Baptist Church in Stanleyville for many years. In addition to her parents Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by two sons, Larry Robertson and Michael Robertson. Mrs. Robertson is survived by one son, Lanny Robertson of Walkertown. Two granddaughters, Brenda and Ruby Jean. Four sisters; Betty (John) Bumgardner of Winston-Salem, Phyllis Hiatt, Shirley (Donald) Hiatt and Mildred Berrier all of Mt. Airy. One brother, Howard (Etta) Tilley of Cana, VA. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Robertson will be held Friday, April 8, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall by Pastor Eddie Honeycutt.
