Ruby Mabe

Mrs. Ruby Yow Mabe, 95, passed away Monday September 13, 2021. She was born March 16, 1926, in Forsyth County to the late William Thomas Yow and Flora Harper Yow. Mrs. Mabe was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a founding member of North Point Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school classes. Ruby was worked and later retired from Goody’s Pharmaceuticals after many years.  She was known for her strong faith, patience, and the love she had for her son and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Edgar Mabe; three brothers, Floyd Yow, Spencer Yow, and Dewey Yow; and one sister, Frankie Bailey. Mrs. Mabe is survived by her son, Edgar Allen Mabe; two grandchildren, Eddie Mabe and Gregory (Ashlee) Mabe; three great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Isaak, and Cohen Mabe and one on the way, Weston. A private graveside service will be conducted for the family.
