Ruby Myers

Mrs. Ruby Jean Myers, age 91, passed away January 2, 2018 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born August 31, 1926 in Forsyth County to the late Canada Murphy and Sarah Jane Murphy Caudle. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years; 4 sons, 1 daughter, 1 granddaughter, and 1 great-granddaughter. Ruby is survived by 1 son, Wayne Myers, 1 daughter, Jane Russ, 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 5, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel Rural Hall with Bro. Don Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall, NC. The family will receive friends beginning at 7:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M., Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27103. The family would like to extend a special thanks for all who assisted them with her care.
