Charleston, SC-- Ruby Bennett Ingram 82, Died Monday January 16, at Summit Place of Daniel Island. She was born in Guilford County to the late Henry W. and Mamie Hull Bennett. Ruby loved Cooking and gardening and authored a cook book called 'Seasoned With Love'. She was married to Vernon L Ingram for almost Fifty Years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Margaret Smith. Survivors include her son Tom Ingram and wife Susan 'Sunny' of Charlotte; her daughter Beverly Jordan and Husband Bob of Summerville. SC; sister Treva Beeson and husband Vernon of Winston-Salem; one brother Paul Bennett and wife Vetral of Belews Creek; Grandchildren, Matt and Jennifer Ingram, Jennifer and Greg Wood, David Yarborough, Mark Yarborough, Jessica and Whitney Jordan; two Great grandchildren, Davis and Henry Wood. A funeral Service will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday January 20 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Walkertown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family requests memorials be made to SouthernCare 9294 Medical Plaza Drive North Charleston, SC 29406 or The Arthritis Foundation 4419 Wallburg Rd. Winston-Salem 27107.
