Mrs. Ruby C. Dillon passed away Friday May 1, 2009 at the age of 93 at home in Winston-Salem, NC. Mrs. Dillon was born May 31, 1915 in Siler City, NC. She was on e of eleven children born to Charles and Dora Hudson Crutchfield. She attended Salem Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was devoted to the Lord and His Word. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanford Huey Dillon, her son John and his wife Carla, her brothers, George and Lacy Crutchfield and her sisters, Ann Shelton, Martha Parks, Virginia Kennedy and Bertha Jones. She is survived by her brothers Tommy, John D. And Alfred Crutchfield and her sister Peggy White and her son Stanford H. Dillon, Jr. and daughter-in-law Jamie Dillon Vaden of Winston-Salem and Rebecca Dillon Graves and her husband Walter of Blunt, SD and her grandchildren Michael E. Dillon and his wife Tina, Shannon Dillon Mitchell and her husband Jeff of Lewisville NC, Scott A. Dillon of Raleigh and Ann Graves Holman and her husband Ryan of Montrose, SD. Joshua Graves of Brookings, SD and Nicholas Graves of Allakaket, AK. Her great-grandchildren are Austin and Ty Dillon, Christian and Madison Holman and Hunter and Brayden Mitchell. The Funeral service and burial will be held Monday May 4, 2009 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens at 11:00 AM with Dr. Howard Wilburn and Rev. David Pattisall officiating. There is no stated visitation.
