She is survived by her sister Paulette Chamelin; nephew Jerry Wayne Chamelin; niece Wendy (Robert Jr.) Willard; great niece Reese Emory Willard; numerous cousins; and brother-in-law Jim Harris. Kat’s family would like to give a big thanks to her many friends and staff at the Carriage House and her favorite server, Megan as well as her hair stylist at Supercuts, Kayla. They would also like to thank her friends Peggy B. Gabard and Veronica Grogan for their continued support. They wish to thank Dr. Greisner at Ard-Vista Animal Hospital for all their help in supporting Kat in her rescue efforts. They would like to thank all staff, nurses, doctors, and aids at Bermuda Commons for their help and support during this difficult time. They would like to extend a special thanks to all staff and to the teams at Liberty Hospice, Ken, Pat, Amy, Jessica, and their Chaplain. At Kathleen’s request there will be no services for her. The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to either St. Jude’s Hospital or an animal rescue. Sisters by birth, friends forever.
