Ruby Blake

Mrs. Ruby Louise Hill Blake, 83, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast. She was born September 9, 1934 in Stokes County to the late Herbert Hill and Pearlie Smith Hill. Mrs. Blake loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Blake was preceded in death by two siblings, Linda Faye Hill and Curtis Hill. She is survived by her daughter, Angela Blake Stewart; son, Michael Anthony Blake; two grandchildren, Christopher Boyd Stewart and Jason Scott Stewart; and two great-grandchildren, Addison Grace Stewart and Caroline Rose Stewart. A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, January 26, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
