R.P. Junior Brim Jr.

Mr. R.P. ""Junior"" Brim Jr., 81, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2008 at his home in Winston-Salem. He was born October 25, 1926 in Surry County to the late Dillard and Grace Brim. Mr. Brim was a retired business man who had been a tobacco warehouse operator and an automobile sales owner for over 55 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Brim is survived by his wife, Helen Langford Brim of the home, a son, John Brim and wife Linda of Pfafftown, two daughters, Terri Bowman and husband Dr. Craig Bowman of Eden and Debbie Elrod and husband John of Nashville, TN, five grandchildren, two sisters, Grace Jones of Greensboro and Sue Beck of San Diego, CA and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Funeral services for Mr. Brim will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Dr. Craig Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service at the funeral home.
