Roy Canoe Johnson

Mr. Roy Canoe Johnson,85, of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at his home. Mr. Johnson was born in Forsyth County on August 24, 1924 to the late Roy Canoe and Ellie Vogler Johnson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Stoltz Johnson and a brother Lindy Johnson. Mr. Johnson is survived by four children, Danny Johnson, Kathy Reavis and husband Mike, Anne Fulp and husband Junior, and David Johnson and wife Teressa; six grandchildren, Stacy Johnson, Matt, Mike, and Ashley Fulp, and Justin and Kaitlin Johnson; three great-grandchildren Aubree and Chloee Fulp, and Parker Johnson; and a niece Julie Wilson. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Hanes Baptist Church with the Pastor Jon White officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.
