Rosemary Trietsch Tucker

Winston-Salem- Rosemary Trietsch Tucker, 90, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born February 15, 1922 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Vern Jacob and Bonnie Thompson Trietsch. She moved to North Carolina in 1954 when her late husband, Herbert S. Tucker, was transferred with the Duplan Corporation. In 1991, she retired from Wake Forest University Physicians after 21 years as an administrative assistant. She was a past member of Highland Presbyterian Church and a current member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents and husband was one brother, Vern J. Trietsch, Jr. Surviving are two daughters, Bonnie T. Burnette (Richard) of Atlanta, GA, Gail T. Bricker (Danny) of Pfafftown, and one brother, Don Trietsch of Centerville, Ohio; 7 grandchildren: Melissa Ripper (Ralph) of Apex, Jeff Burnette (Suzi), and William Burnette (Kate) all of Atlanta, Shannon Westmoreland (Rob) of King, Jonathan Bricker of Pfafftown, Andrew Bricker of Fuquay-Varina, Lara Bricker of Kernersville and 7 great-grandchildren. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Forsyth Memorial Park with the Rev. Dana Fruits officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm, Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
