Mrs. Rosemary Collins Eaton, 86 of Winston-Salem, died Friday October 3, 2008 at Springwood Care. Mrs. Eaton was born August 8, 1922 in Harlan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Martin Luther Collins and the late Mary Hunter Collins. Mrs. Eaton was a retired machine operator with RJ Reynolds for 43 years, and a member of United Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Eaton in 1985, son, Stephen Eaton, sisters, Helen Fulp and Hazel Collins. She is survived by her son, Raymond ""Butch"" Eaton and wife Jane, 3 grandchildren, Stephen Eaton, Jr. Nicole Murphy, and Vince Eaton, 2 great-grandchildren, Stephanie Joyner and Elisha Murphy, 3 sisters, Virginia Overcash, Bettie Adams, and Avery Mackie. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday October 7, 2008 at United Baptist Church with Rev. Will Watson and Rev. Paul Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to United Baptist Church 5815 Murray Rd. Winston-Salem, NC 27106.
