Rosemarie Scherer

Rosemarie Scherer passed away at home Wednesday evening, June 6, 2012. She was born in Erie County, NY to Julian and Lillian Lindbaum Richter on September 30, 1932. Mrs. Scherer was a registered nurse who earned a BSN degree from D'Youville College in Buffalo, NY. She retired from Fieldcrest Cannon where she worked as an Occupational Health Nurse. She was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary at Rowan Memorial Hospital where she served in various capacities including President. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Scherer was preceded in death by her sister, Margee; and brother, Phil. Surviving to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 60 years, Jack Scherer; also her children, Judi Scherer, Michael Scherer (Kim), MaryBeth Conrad (Mark), Kelly Scherer, Lisa Scherer, David Scherer (Siobhan); as well as 13 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012 with visitation following at Salisbury Country Club.
