Rosamond "Rose" Collins Brown

Mrs. Rosamond ""Rose"" Collins Brown, 73, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015. She was born October 12, 1941 in Stokes County to the late Flora Ella Brown Collins and William Lee Collins. Mrs. Brown was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, William Arthur Brown, on May 21, 2015 and also, five brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Lynn Collins Vernon (Brian); son, Richard Lee Collins (Tammy); grandchildren: Brian Vernon Jr., Brandon Collins, Stephen Collins, Ashley Sheffield, and Brandy Collins; and also, ten great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 18 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Brother Don Collins officiating.
