“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rosalyn “Lynn” Carol Farley, born January 11, 1963, who left this world on October 28, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. A cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Lynn touched the lives of all who knew her with her warmth and compassion.
Lynn was preceded in death by her father, Donald Miller; her late husband, Paul Banner Sr.; and her stepson, Paul Banner Jr. She is survived by her mother, Virginia Carol Miller; children, Charles Banner, Danielle “Nikki” Farley, and Catherine “Cat” Jennings (Rebecca); grandchildren, Alyssa, Dominic, Hayden “Bella”, and Everett; siblings, Donald “Donnie” Miller Jr. (Jessi), Sherry Cameron (Bruce), and Ida Mitchem (Gilbo); special aunt, Barbara Profitt; and a close-knit circle of extended family and friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
A lover of gardening and animals, Rosalyn found joy in the simple beauty of the world around her. Her selflessness and ability to put the needs of others above her own made her a beacon of kindness and love. She had an innate ability to lift spirits and was always ready to lend a listening ear or a helping hand. Known for her storytelling and engaging conversations, she had a remarkable ability to connect with others, never meeting a stranger.
As we celebrate Rosalyn’s life, we remember her laughter, her unwavering support, and the countless ways she enriched our lives. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire us all.
