Rosalie Medlin Wilson

Mrs. Rosalie M. Wilson, 90, was promoted to Heaven on March 4, 2011. She was the widow of Harrison C. Wilson, who preceded her in death in 1996. She was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Martha Wilson and two step-granddaughters, Carletta Kearns and Gail Echerd. She was born in Dillon, SC on June 30, 1920 to the late Percy B. Medlin and Ila Pittman Medlin. She was a charter member of Faith Missionary Alliance Church. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her sons, Larry Wilson of Welcome and Charles (Sherry) Wilson of Summerfield; a daughter, Kay (Tom) Renegar of Winston-Salem. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Tony (Kelli) Wilson of Conover, Tina (Todd) Fulcher of Welcome, Leigh Ann (Robert) Bruff of Lexington, and Denise (Jim) Brown of Clemmons; a step-grandson, Carlton (Susie) Owens; seven great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; four step-great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Pearle Welch of New Orleans, LA, Marie Woodlief and Alberta Harpe both of Winston-Salem; two brothers, Bill (Mozelle) Medlin of Walkertown and Jack (Anne) Medlin of Germanton, and many nieces, nephews, and good friends. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, March 7, 2011 at Faith Missionary Alliance Church with the Rev. Michael Gates and the Rev. Albert Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm until 2:00pm prior to the service at the church. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Faith Missionary Alliance Church Sanctuary Fund. The family would like to give special thanks to the entire staff of The Oaks at Forsyth and an extra special thanks to the staff of Station Two.
