Rosa Moore

Arrell Lennon and Rosa Lee Donevant Moore, both of Winston- Salem, NC both passed away in a sudden tragic accident this past weekend. As unexpected as it was, their departure from this earth was beautifully orchestrated by their Lord and Savior as only He can. Rosa Lee passed instantly and was ushered into His loving arms. Arrell fought for his own survival with grave, critical injuries for the sole purpose of finding out if his wife had survived. Although he was never verbally told, by Sunday his spirit knew and he peacefully passed into her loving arms and the arms of his loving Savior with family members singing hymns at his bedside. Inseparable in life, together in death, displaying the most beautiful love story for the ages!! They would not want us to grieve their loss but celebrate their life. Their planted seeds of joy, empathy, character, generosity, servitude and unconditional love will continue to blossom for years to come. She and Arrell raised many surrogate children with much love and care. An event coordinator for weddings, birthdays and funerals; she was always providing meals for the sick or needy. Rosie was notorious for creating adventures with kids, midnight runs to Krispy Kreme and sledding in the park just to name a few. Rosa Lee and Arrell hosted many friends and family celebrations in their home. Arrell was born in Columbus County, NC to the late John Bernice and Edna Moore. Arrell graduated from Acme- Delco High School; continuing his education at Piedmont Bible College where he met Rosa Lee. Arrell dug most of the water lines and gas pump wells himself. Arrell's handiwork can be found throughout the city in other mobile home parks, Camp Joel and Merriwood Christian Camp where he built the water slide, ski machine and zip line. Arrell created his own radio alarm clock in college. Arrell has been a deacon, trustee and chairman of the board for the aforementioned Christian camps.
