Rosa Lee Smith Hicks

Kernersville - Rosa Lee Smith Hicks, 78, passed away July 17, 2009. Rosa loved animals and to work in her crossword puzzle books. She was preceded in death by her husband John Richard Hicks. Surviving are; a daughter, Brenda Dickens and her husband Joseph David of Kernersville, three sons, Michael of Winston Salem, Arnold and wife Betty of Kernersville and Ricky and wife Judy of Greensboro, five grandchildren, Marie and husband Adolfo, Brandy, Joey, Teresa, Chris, four great grandchildren; Makayla, Adolfo, Alberto, and Alex, and an expectant great granddaughter, Jayla Dickens. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday July 20, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Sunday July 19, 2009 at the funeral home.
