Ronnie Dale Tucker

Walnut Cove-Ronnie Dale Tucker,60, of Walnut Cove passed away suddenly Monday July 6, 2009 at his home. He was born March 3, 1949 in Valdosta GA to the late Dempsey Tucker and Ione Willis Tucker. Ronnie retired from the Winston-Salem Journal after 38 years of service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a stepson; Michael Lunsford; three brothers; Darrell, Peter, and Dempsey Tucker; one infant sister, baby girl tucker. He leaves behind his wife; Sharon Tucker of the home; two daughters; Ronda Sheets and Wanda King both of Kernersville; one son Neil Tucker of Alabama; a stepson Anthony (Tony) Tucker of Walnut Cove; one brother Herman Tucker of GA; two sisters Beverly Rayfield and Betty Teague both of Winston-Salem; six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday July 13, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
