Ronnie Edward Smithwick

Mr. Ronnie Edward Smithwick, 50, of Winston-Salem died Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born May 28, 1958 in Forsyth County, the son of the late Edward and Georgia Caroll Smithwick. Mr. Smithwick was a member of Covenant of Grace Presbyterian Church. Ronnie was well known for being a funny man and a very helpful and loving person. Survivors include his wife, Lihua Li Smithwick; one daughter, Danli Wu; two sons, Joseph Evan Smithwick 14 and Austin Edward Smithwick 12; one sister, Denise Hutchens; one niece, Kristen Hutchens and one nephew, Garrett Hutchens. The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. Covenant of Grace Presbyterian Church with Pastor Roger Wiles officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Covenant of Grace Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Covenant of Grace Presbyterian Church, 508 Harvey Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
