Mr. Ronnie Ray Reynolds, 71 of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mr. Reynolds was born August 17, 1940 in Forsyth County to the late Maylon Harding and Viola Southern Reynolds. He was of the Baptist Faith and retired from RJ Reynolds with 37 years of service. Ronnie enjoyed playing softball in his earlier years and loved fresh and salt water fishing. He enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles, he enjoyed relaxing at the lake, but the most important of all he was a loving husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Reynolds. Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife of 51 years, Bonnie Vestal Reynolds of the home, a daughter, Terrie Oldham and husband, Robert of Winston-Salem, a son, Chad Reynolds and wife, Lisa of Charlotte, NC, two grandchildren, Heather and Dalton, two sisters, Jean Gardner and husband, John of Georgia and Ora Lee Bates of Winston-Salem. The Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, February 23 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm. Friday, February 24 at the Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel officiated by Rev. Jim Brown. Entombment will follow in the Parklawn Memorial Park.
