Ronnie Wayne Reavis, 79, formerly of Clemmons, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Lexington Health Care Center. He was born July 4, 1945, in Forsyth County to the late Thaddius Joel Reavis and Phosa Hoots Reavis. Mr. Reavis served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Tyco with 40 years of service. Ronnie always had wheels in motion… in his younger years he would take to the open road in his beloved Chevelle or his motorcycle. He traveled many miles on his bike on the New River Trail, local greenways and in his neighborhood. The wheels in his mind were always turning too. Creating and tinkering with tools and cars was how he spent much of his free time. He never turned down an opportunity to spend time with his family and friends enjoying a meal, kicking back in a rocking chair, or watching a NASCAR race. Preceding him in death were four brothers, Paul, Owen, Joe, and Thad Reavis; sister, Nancy Dumont and a special friend, Kaye McKaughn. Surviving are two daughters, Alicia Reavis (Joel Leonard) of Lexington and Cindy Rhodes (Tad) of Wilson; two grandsons, Jack and Cooke Rhodes; brother, Dennis Reavis (Patti) of Bermuda Run and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 28, 2025, at Westlawn Gardens of Memory with military honors. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 PM prior at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel, 6685 Shallowford Rd. Lewisville, NC 27023. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County by visiting www.hospiceofdavidson.org. or https://sites.google.com/view/twincitybikecollective/
