Ronald "Ronnie" Davis

KERNERSVILLE - Mr. Ronald Eugene “Ronnie” Davis, 64 of Kernersville went to his heavenly home on Sunday, January 23, 2022. A lifelong resident of North Carolina, Ronnie was born January 26, 1957 in Forsyth County to the late Bobby Eugene and Louise Stoker Davis. Ronnie was a graduate of East Forsyth High School and was employed by Farmer’s Hardware in Kernersville. He was proud to serve his community, always greeting friends and customers with a smile and a kind word. Ronnie enjoyed watching Nascar, football, and most of all calling for updates and to get the play-by-play of every ballgame, cheer competition, hunting, and fishing excursion, or any other events that his grandkids were involved in. He loved his family and their time together more than anything, especially holidays and Sunday dinners. Ronnie never failed to let anyone know how special they were to him. His kindness and gentle spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Linda Peterson Davis; two sons, Brian E. Davis (Ashley), and Jamie W. Davis (Brandi); four grandchildren, Reed, Rylee, Everette and Drake Davis; one brother, Greg Davis (Christine); and two very special nephews, Kyle & Keith Davis.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor David Rorie officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at the funeral home.
