Ronald "Larry" Bryant

Mr. Ronald Lawrence “Larry” Bryant, 76, died Sunday morning, August 8, 2021 following a brief illness.  He was born September 15, 1944, in Unicoi, Tennessee to Floyd and Louise Bryant.  Larry was well known in the community as an accomplished Tile Contractor for over 50 years.  He had a passion for classic cars and spending time on his front porch in his happy place.  Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife of 48 years, Ernestine Brown Bryant; a daughter Paula Diana Bryant; and a sister Linda Kay Gardner of Erwin, Tennessee. He is survived by three daughters, Anita B. Bray (Richard) of Walnut Cove, Dawn B. Hall (Kenny) of Kernersville, Wendy B. Spencer (Ronnie) of Rural Hall; and one son Ronald A. “Tony” Bryant (Stacey) of Rural Hall.   He also left behind six grandchildren; Josh Bray (Carley), Logan Bray, Jordan Hall (Ashley), Taylor Holley (Christian), Lukas Martin and Morgan Bryant; four step-grandchildren Caleb and Jacob Spencer and Madison and Cole Abbott; one sister, Ann Ferris of Winston-Salem; one brother Roger Bryant of Essick, MD; several nieces and nephews and a very special friend Patsy Crews. The family will receive family and friends in celebration of his life from 6:00-8:00 Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Hayworth Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall and other times at the home of his son, Tony Bryant.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
