Ronald Grey Vaughn, Jr.

Lewisville, NC: Vaughn: Mr. Ronald Grey Vaughn, Jr., 37 of Lewisville, NC passed away Friday, January 07, 2011 at WFU Baptist Medical Center after a courageous 2 ½ year battle with cancer. Ronald was born December 26, 1973 in Forsyth Co. to Ronald Grey Vaughn, Sr. and Cheryl Spainhour Vaughn. Ronald was an avid Duke Fan, and received a Bone Marrow transplant from his brother, Brandon at the Duke Adult Bone Marrow Center. Surviving to cherish his memory is his two daughters; Elizabeth Lynn Vaughn and Adrianna Nicole Vaughn; his parents; Ronald Vaughn, Sr. and mother, Cheryl Spainhour Vaughn of Lewisville, NC; his brother, Brandon Vaughn; Ronald's fianc郩, Michelle Hamby and her daughters, Kayla and Felicia Hamby and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel officiated by Dr. Bud Owen with the family receiving friends immediately following the Service. The Vaughn Family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. Baynard Powell and staff at WFUBMC Cancer Center for the care given to Ronald during his illness. A special thanks to Steve Newsome, and to family members and friends for their help and support.
