Mr. Ronald Elton Smith, 70, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Goldsboro, NC on July 27, 1945 to the late Horace Elton Smith and Ruby Best Ray. Preceding him in death was his wife, Doris Smith and a brother, Larry Smith. Surviving are two daughters, Lisa Everhart and Rhonda Reid (Daniel); son, Michael Elton Smith; two step-daughters, Lisa Beck (Jason) and Michelle Hannah (Hank); seven grandchildren, Brittany James, Brad Everhart, Adam Reid, Kaylee Beck, Ashley Davis, Kristin Davis, and Chandler Hannah; also surviving are two great-grandchildren, Lily and Noah James.
