Ronald Keith Robertson

Ronald Keith Robertson passed away in his home from natural causes on Friday May 19, 2023 in Winston-Salem, NC, at the age of 67.  Ronald was born in Forsyth County, NC, on October 1,1955, being the younger of two sons born to the late Troy Alonzo and Mildred Marie Goforth Robertson. Mr. Robertson recently retired from the maintenance department at Corning’s Winston Cable Plant where he valued many friendships he made during his time at Corning.  Ronnie, as most people knew him, also loved his church, Trinity Moravian Church, in Winston-Salem, NC, where he served and volunteered in many ways. Both before and after retirement, Ronnie enjoyed hunting in the NC mountains and fishing.  He was a true outdoorsman, admiring all of God’s treasures.  If the sun was out, he wanted to be as well.  He enjoyed watching many sports from baseball to basketball and football.  Ronnie was also a jack of all trades.  There was no car, machine, or anything mechanical that he could not fix. Mr. Robertson was preceded in death by his older brother, Larry Steven Robertson. Ronnie is survived by his children, Keith Robertson and Kelly Robertson; grandchildren, Trevor Robertson and Kendall Powell; and his former wife, Pam Robertson. A service of worship and celebration of Ronnie’s life will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Moravian Church with Rev. John Jackman officiating.  The family will receive friends and family Saturday morning prior to the service from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the church. A graveside service will be held prior to that date, on Thursday May 25th, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Salem Moravian Graveyard - Gods Acre.
