Ronald Melton

Mr. Ronald Wayne Melton, 73, passed away Wednesday November 3, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born August 2, 1948, in Forsyth County, the son of Charles and Lottie Holcomb Melton. He was a graduate of Parkland High School, Class of 1966 and Forsyth Technical Community College, Class of 1972. Ronnie was retired from R.J. Reynolds and served his country in Vietnam with the 312 Evacuation Unit, U.S. Army. He was a member of AMVETS Post 760 in Welcome and VFW Post 1134 in Winston-Salem.   An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting motorcycles and vintage cars Ronnie was a gentle soul, who helped a lot of others and is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include several cousins, and many friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
