Ronald (""Ronnie"") Paul McGlothlin passed on to Glory on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Ronnie was born on February 11, 1943 to Harvey Paul and Inez McGlothlin. He was born and raised in Mullens, West Virginia. Ronnie was a retired tire salesman and was known throughout the state as ""the tire man."" His life centered around his family and thoroughly enjoyed family get-togethers at his home. In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by four brothers -- Ike, Bill, Kermit and JC - and one sister, Joyce. Surviving is his dedicated wife of 47 years, Linda McGlothlin; two daughters, Tara (Mark) Keaton and Nicci (Bobby) Mabe; five grandchildren, Cody (Hannah) Keaton, Chelsea Keaton, Chloe Mabe, Isabella Mabe and Asher Mabe; one great grandchild, Abigail Keaton, all of Yadkin County; one sister, Shirley (Jim) Shorts of Beckley, West Virginia and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Hayworth-Miller Chapel on Silas Creek Parkway from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2016. A private family service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the family residence.
