Ronald Edwin Kress

Mr. Ronald Edwin Kress passed away Monday, June 2, 2014 at his home after a brief battle with ALS. He was born January 13, 1947 in Warwick County, VA to the late Annie Troutman Kress and Roy Frank Kress. Mr. Kress proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard. He was a kid at heart and had a great sense of humor. Ron was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Mr. Kress is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Brotherton Kress; two daughters, Kimberly C. Hutton and Lori C. Hamilton (Tom); and three grandchildren: Sydnie Hutton, Cole Hutton, and Vincent Hamilton.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 6 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with the Rev. Darrick Clemmons officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
