Ronald Alvin Kenitzer, 74, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 12th in Winston-Salem, NC. He was born in Milwaukee, WI to Alvin Kenitzer and Lucille Michels Kenitzer on October 28, 1941. He graduated from Milwaukee Lutheran High School in 1960 and later received an Associate Degree in Marketing. Ron built a career at the J.C. Penney Company, where he retired after 40 years of service. He is lovingly survived by his two daughters and their spouses, Rhonda Kay Oltjenbruns (Mark) and Christine Kay Moore (Rodney); one nephew (Jeffrey Arnold), and one niece (Heidi Ebenhoch). He was Grandpa to 5 grandchildren, Timothy Alan Oltjenbruns, Stephen Alan Oltjenbruns, Tiffany Kaylan Oltjenbruns, Ryan Christian Moore, and Nicholas Lindal Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Sandra Arnold, and wife of 37 years, Roberta Harlene English Kenitzer. Ron was full of life and the life of the party, and family was very important to him. Many in Wisconsin, Georgia, Texas, and North Carolina called him a valued friend. His family could not have asked for a better father, father-in-law, or Grandpa. The family will receive friends Friday, February 19 from 5-7 PM at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Center Grove Baptist Church, 8750 Lasater Rd, Clemmons, NC 27012. We love you Dad and know we will see you and Mom again soon.
