Ronald 'Ron' Wayne Hutchins, Sr.

Mr. Ronald ""Ron"" Wayne Hutchins, Sr., 58, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 17, 1954 in Forsyth County to Lester James ""LJ"" Hutchins and Bobbie ""Barbara"" Jean Roberts. Mr. Hutchins attended Parkland High School and was a salesman for Little Rob's Autos. He loved his Lord and Savior and he was a gospel singer with the Singing Americans. Mr. Hutchins was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, and brother, Brian Hutchins. Surviving are his mother; step-father, Nelson Boger; two brothers, Mike Hutchins and wife Melissa of Midway, Richard ""Rick"" Hutchins of the home; sister-in-law, Glenda Hutchins of Winston-Salem; two sons, Ronald Wayne Hutchins, Jr., James Ray Hutchins; one daughter, Beth Gaillard; ten grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, July 26, 2013 at Mt. Carmel Church of the Living God with Rev. Sandra Bovender, Rev. Scott Steed and Rev. Charlie Harris officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Forsyth County, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to Forsyth County 4H, 1450 Fairchild Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
