Ronald Crews

Kernersville – Mr. Ronald Alton Crews, 76, passed away peacefully on Sunday,

September 27, 2020 at Walnut Cove Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born

on March 12, 1944 in Forsyth county to James Clarence and Mary Osborne Crews.

By trade, Ronald was a machinist for a metal fabrication company. He retired

after over thirty years in the industry. After his retirement, he enjoyed working

part time tuning pianos. Ronald loved music and could play just about any

instrument.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Alton

“Chip” Crews, Jr.; two brothers, James and Herman; and two sisters, Bonnie and

Evon. He is survived by one son, Tracy Wayne Crews; three grandchildren, Kelly

Fischer (Kyle), Cory Crews (Megan), and Amber Johnson (Kate); one great

grandchild, Harper Johnson; one brother, Kenneth Crews; and his loving nieces

and nephews who knew him as Uncle Ronnie.

Memorial Services for Ronald will be held at a later date. Hayworth-Miller

Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
