Ronald Lynn Berrier, Sr.

Mr. Ronald Lynn Berrier, Sr., 66, of East Bend died peacefully in his sleep Thursday, September 4, 2014 after a year of illness and declining health. He was born September 13, 1947 in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late Russell Ervin Berrier, Sr. and Frances Coleman Berrier. Ron resided in Davidson County for most of his life until recently when he moved to Yadkin County to spend more time with his son and grandchildren. Ron was self-employed as ""The Best"" Brick Mason in the state of NC. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, camping, spending time with his friends, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. His greatest love over the past few years was being able to watch his grandkids grow and play sports. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Lynn Berrier, Jr. and his half-brother, Gary Lynn Berrier. He is survived by one son, Chris (Marti) Berrier; four grandchildren, Zach, Camryn, Karly and Kendyl; one sister, Linda Kay (Logan) Fulp; one brother, Russell Berrier; and many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. The funeral service will be conducted Monday at 3:00 PM at Friendship Baptist Church in East Bend with Rev. Harold Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
