Mr. Roland Butch Nathian Haneline, 68, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011 at his home. He was born January 1, 1943 in Forsyth County to Bennett Loflin Haneline and Sadie Viola Lunsford Haneline. He graduated from Gray High School in 1961 and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Pine Chapel Moravian Church and a member of AMVETS Post 777. Mr. Haneline was loved by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, James Scott Haneline. Surviving are two daughters, Sebrina Haneline of Mocksville, Barbara Whaley of Advance; four grandchildren, Ronald James Whaley, Christy LouAnn Whaley, Abigail Marie Stowe, Zachary Chris Stowe; a great-grandchild, Alexia Grace Medina; two brothers, B.L. Haneline, Jr. and John Wayne Haneline. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00PM Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Mike Lane officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00PM until 9:00PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AMVETS Post 777, 838 E. Sprague St., Winston-Salem, NC 27107.
