Roger Payne

Payne Spartanburg S.C.- Mr. Roger Payne, 83, died at Mission Hospital in Asheville N.C. on Tuesday July 21st 2009. He is survived by six children, Allen Southern of Spartanburg, Larry (Robin) Southern of Cocoa, Fla., Janet (Ken) Burnham of Asheboro N.C., Cindy Southern of Winston Salem, N.C. Barry Dean Hawks of Winston Salem, N.C. and Linda Cox of Greenville, S.C., Four grandchildren Jacob Clay Southern, Victor Ross Southern, Jessi Michele and Rylee Theresa Southern. A graveside service for Mr. Payne will be conducted 3:00 Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Crestview Memorial Park with Rev. Robert Blackburn officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30- 2:30 prior to the service at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
