Roger Hennessee

Mr. Roger Keith Hennessee, 66, of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020. He was born in Caldwell County on October 22, 1954, to Roger Lee and Reba Clark Hennessee. Keith worked for thirty years at Thomasville Furniture and then began his career as a teacher, until he retired, for the Guilford County School System. He enjoyed restoring old cars and traveling and attending car shows. Most importantly, he loved his family and spending time with them.

Keith is preceded in death by his father, Roger Lee Hennessee. Surviving are his mother, Reba Clark Hennessee; fiancé, Devonna Shumate; daughter, Kasey Potter and husband Matthew; two grandchildren: Emma Grace Potter and Rylee Potter; brother, Stacy Hennessee and wife Traci; and many loving nieces, nephews, and family members.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
