Rocky Lane Anders

Mr. Rocky Lane Anders, 66, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, on December 15, 2023, at Select Specialty Hospital in Greensboro. Rocky was born in Forsyth Co. on April 13, 1957, the son of the late Estel Mack Anders and Myrtle Ruth Rose Anders. He loved the Lord and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in King. Rocky worked for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. and loved to travel and spend time at the beach. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve Anders and Jesse Anders. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sandra Anders; one brother, Walter Anders; and two sisters, Brenda Whitaker (Lewis) and Darnell Grimes. Rocky is also survived by several special nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Calvary Baptist Church in King with Pastor Kevin Broyhill officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
