Roby Lewis Draughon

DRAUGHON Mr. Roby Lewis Draughon, 76, of Winston-Salem died Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Grace Healthcare of Winston-Salem. He was born June 20, 1934 in Banner Elk, the son of the late, William Henry and Blanche Horney Draughon. Mr. Draughon was a member of New Direction Christian Fellowship. He loved his family, his friends, his church, and his cat, Penny. He touched many lives through his special caregiving abilities. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, William J. Draughon. Survivors include his sister, Mary Frances Edwards and husband, Paul W. of Locust; three nieces, Patricia Gail Jackson of Denver, Brenda Kay Latham of Lowesville and Beverly Edwards Bloomfield and husband, Kevin of Concord; one nephew, Richard M. Edwards of Gaston, SC; five great nephews; three great nieces and two great-great nephews. A memorial service will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
