Robin Jean Syrett Ukpabi

Winston-Salem- Mrs. Robin Jean Syrett Ukpabi, 51, passed away March 17, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Robin was born May 22, 1960 in Greenport, Long Island, New York. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Robin graduated from Lancaster High School and The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. She was employed as office manager with Smile Starters in Winston Salem. Robin leaves to cherish her memory, a loving husband of 19 years, Godwin Ukpabi of the home; a daughter, Anna Ukpabi of the home; her parents, Robert and Jean Syrett of White Stone, VA; a sister, Tracy Ann Syrett Cataldo and husband Peter of Sheldonville, MA; a brother, Steve Syrett and wife Mary of Hamilton, VA; nephews, Maxwell Syrett, and Peter and Benjamin Cataldo. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Robinson as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will received friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
