Mrs. Robin Lynette Lewis Crooks, beloved Mama, Ma dukes, Sally Mae and a wonderful Nannie, went to her heavenly home to walk on streets of gold with her heavenly Father on July 28, 2013. Robin was born in Forsyth County, August 5, 1957 to the late Maggie Lee Mabe and Clarence Edward Lewis. Robin lived her life walking with Jesus and loving like Jesus. She was a very loving mother to her two daughters and also a very dedicated dietary aid manger at Village Care of King. Her life was her two baby girls, her grandchildren and her great grandson. In addition to her parents Robin was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Crooks, two sisters and four brothers. Robin is survived by her two daughters; Christy (Delmar) Crowe and Robin (P.J.) Stupakewicz. Nine grandchildren: Aftin, Brock, Maegon, Devin, Brittany, Austin, Trey, Eli and her bright and shining star K.K. One great grandson, Henry Gaddy aka Milkshake Man. Two sisters; Carolyn Hodge and Rosa (Ronald) Sechrist. Several nieces, nephews and one special (Pinky friend) Janice Jones. Funeral services for Mrs. Crooks will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall by Brother Bill Jones. Burial will follow at the First Christian Church in King, NC The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Tuesday evening July 30th from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. The family request that everyone attending Robin's service wear bright colors for her Celebration of Life. The family would like to thank Hospice and Palliative Care of Stokes County and also extend a very special Thank You to Dr. Pashold and his staff at FDCC for all the love and care they showed toward Robin.
