Robert "Lewis" Mclean

Mr. Robert “Lewis” McLean went to be with the Father and his Lord on August 17, 2020 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Scotland County, August 13, 1952 to Mr. John Archie and Rebecca Brown McLean who predeceased him along with big brother, Fred “Jelly” McLean.

Lewis grew up in Happy Hill Garden Community on Alexander St. He attended Anderson Senior High School and after graduation he attended Forsyth Technical Community College. Lewis worked at Atrium Windows and Hanes for many years until his health began to leave him.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories his long-time companion and caregiver, Cynthia “Jane” East; son, Benjamin Christian; daughters, Jamie McLean, Monica Gray and Alyssa East; stepson, Bradley East; sister, Rebecca Mitchell (Lester) and brother, Johnnie McLean (Charlene); special in-law, Debra McLean; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren’ a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, August 21, 2020, at Life Changing Transformation Church Ministries with Sr. Pastor Alice Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
