Robert Gray White

Mr. Robert Gray White, 86, passed away Friday December 11, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born May 15, 1934 in Forsyth County to the late Fredrick Harrison White and Lelia Ember Marie White. Robert retired from his job as a baker after 28 years of faithful service. Mr. White was a lover of life, an intelligent man who enjoyed watching game shows, had a love for playing the game of phase ten, and an avid sports fan who supported the Duke Blue Devils, The Pittsburgh Steelers, and the New York Yankees. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rachel Moser White; five children: Steven White, Lisa Brown, Jimmy Rucker, Rhonda Rucker, and Kevin Rucker; and four brothers. Robert is survived by his nine children: Terry Gray White (Edith), Ken Aman (Darlene), Janice Fansler (Gray), Joan Eads (Dean), and Brian Aman (Lisa); twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A private family graveside service will be conducted Monday at Crestview Memorial Park with Bro. Darius Collins and Bro. Ken Aman officiating. Robert will be lying in state at Haworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel Sunday December 13 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
