WINSTON-SALEM, NC—Mr. Robert “Bob” Kent Pfaff, 80, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019. Bob was born in Forsyth County on June 15, 1938, to the late Ernest Pfaff and Bessie Hoover Pfaff. He was an electrical technician and worked for Western Electric and retired from what is now known as AT&T. Bob was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed attending NASCAR races and pulling for his favorite driver, Richard Petty. He also enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Pfaff and Gray Pfaff; and one sister, Norma Waters. Bob is survived by his wife, Sandra Masten Pfaff; three children, Charles “Kent” Pfaff, Sandee Lynn Pfaff, and Robert Christopher “Chris” Pfaff; three grandchildren, Matthew “Matt” Thomas Schrader (Sara), Emily, and Amy; one sister-in-law, Cathy Gordon (Robert); and one nephew, Wayne T. Pfaff. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church with Dr. Mark Key and Rev. Bob Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A reception will be held at the church following the interment. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Mt.
