Robert Transou Jr.

Mr. Robert Hartness Transou Jr., 42, passed away Monday, June 8, 2020.  He was born August 8, 1977 in Forsyth County the son of Robert Hartness Transou Sr. and Sherry Nelson Kiger.  Robert was an avid bass fisherman, fishing whenever he could.  He worked hard as an HVAC tech for his father at Transou Heating and Air.  Robert is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents: Paul and Lillie Mae Nelson, and Gaither Transou and Helen Gibson.  In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughter, Kristen Poe; sister, Susan Hepler; step-father, Clint Kiger; two step-brothers, Adam Kiger and Matt Kiger; and special friend, Tilda Smith Vernon.
