Robert Jay Sweatman

KERNERSVILLE-Robert Jay Sweatman, 59, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, December 28, 2016. He was born July 24, 1957, in Forsyth County to the late Robert Monroe Sweatman and Susie Jean Fish Sweatman. Robert worked at B/E Aerospace for over 30 years. He was an avid power lifter, and also loved softball. Over the years he played on many different leagues throughout Kernersville and the surrounding area. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Megan Sweatman; and his brother Jeffrey Sweatman. Surviving are his son, Bradley Sweatman (Cristina) of Lexington; brother Joel Sweatman of Kernersville and one sister Jill Scott (John) of Kernersville. A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
