Robert Eugene Swaim

Greensboro - Mr. Robert Eugene Swaim, 77, passed away Monday, January 17, 2011, at the Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Greensboro. He was born July 19, 1933 in Forsyth Co. to the late Melvin ""Red"" and Norma Starr Swaim. He was a member of Life Community Church and retired from US Air after 37 years of service. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Caudle, and his three brothers. Surviving are his loving wife; Vickie Weaver Swaim of the home, one niece LuAnn Jones of Pfafftown, one nephew, Steve Caudle and wife Vicky of Montea, Virginia A brother in law, Richard Caudle, two great nephews, and one great niece. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens by Pastor Joe McWethy. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be directed to Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Greensboro at 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro 27405.
