Robert Earl Snapp

WINSTON-SALEM - Robert Earl Snapp, 74, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Snapp was born May 3, 1935 in Washington County, Virginia to Alfred Marvin and Stella Venable Snapp. Mr. Snapp was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Betty Snapp. Surviving is his loving wife of 54 years, Lillian James Snapp; brother, Roger Snapp and wife Elaine; nephew Christopher of Advance; a niece, Karen Cummings and husband Willie; great nieces, Ashley and Krista; sister-in-law, Thelma Craver and husband Glenn. Robert retired with 30 years service from the U.S. Postal Service. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 13 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Jack Nance and the Rev. Russ May officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Moravian Church graveyard. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
