Robert Allen Smith

Mr. Robert Allen Smith, 70, of Mocksville passed away Monday April 4, 2016 at his home. He was born November 15, 1945 in Indiana to Donald Harry and Alice Hazelton Smith. Mr. Smith was a former Managing Partner with Price Waterhouse in Winston-Salem and later Executive Vice President for Oakwood Homes in Greensboro. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving is his wife of 46 years, Alice Packwood Smith of the home; a daughter, Laura Smith McDaniel and husband Ken and a son, D. Scott Smith, all of Mocksville; two grandsons, Caleb and Tyler McDaniel; three sisters, Roberta Houston and husband Lewis of Knoxville, TN, Barby Graybeal and husband Bill of Limestone, TN and Linda Clark and husband Kenneth, also of Limestone, TN. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Truell officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
